A search ensued for Elias Huizar, a former police officer accused of murdering his ex-wife and girlfriend and abducting his 1-year-old child in central Washington. Huizar, 39, fled after fatally shooting his ex-wife, 31-year-old Amber Marie Rodriguez, outside William Wiley Elementary School in West Richland, WA, about 3.5 hours outside Portland in Tri-Cities area on Monday, 22nd/April/2024.
Amber was a real estate agent/broker at Keller Williams Realty in Tri-Cities. She resided in her hometown in Sunnyside, WA. Victim was shot multiple times in head and torso by Elias Huizar Washington. Incident led to a school lockdown. Huizar’s 9-year-old son, Eden, witnessed him shooting his mother. As a result of incident, Leon, a 5-year-old and Eden, a 9-year-old kid of Amber, were left orphaned in West Richland.
Tara Symons organized a GoFundMe campaign to get a $50k donation to support future needs of Amber’s sons. GFM campaign accumulated $29,207 as of writing.
Amber, his ex-wife, had filed for a protection order due to concerns for safety of their children, citing his Wiki and past abusive behaviour, including inappropriate physical acts performed with his girlfriend in front of their children at Elias’s house. Huizar’s ex-wife also noted his history of psychological health issues and personality disorders, including PTSD, major depressive disorder, insomnia, and substance abuse.

Biography of Huizer’s Girlfriend:
Huizar physically assaulted an unconscious 16-year-old girl on 3rd/February/2024, who was a friend of his girlfriend. Earlier in day, he offered them mind-altering drinks. His girlfriend caught him red-handed while he was abusing her friend in their apartment.
Angelica Santos(Jelly), 17-year-old girlfriend of Huizer and her friend, left with a 9-month-old child, who was later confirmed to be Roman Huizar(now 1-year-old). Angelica Santos was found dead at Elias’s home on 22nd/April/2024. Though Huizer was not present at house, he was identified as a prime suspect, as tender Age Roman was abducted by Huizar, leading to an Amber Alert on Monday night on 22nd/April/2024 under Case# 24-003977.
Jelly reportedly met when he worked as a school resource officer at Washington Middle School. Jelly was 11-year-old when Huizar inappropriately contacted her. They reconnected via FB. After a year, they had a baby boy(Roman Huizar) when Jelly was just 15 years old.

All Bad That Ends Bad:
Huizar faced a separate third-degree physical abuse charge for an inappropriate relationship with another 17-year-old girl, leading to his arrest earlier in April but got released on bail. He was not a Family man.
Authorities pursued Huizar and eventually found him in Oregon after chasing his Silver 2009 Toyota Corolla car with WA Licence# CBZ4745 along Interstate-5 just north of Eugene around 2:40 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. on 23rd/April/2024. Huizar had crashed into another vehicle and lost control.
Huizar and Troopers exchanged gunfire before he fled south, crashing into a commercial vehicle and spinning into a median. Huizar died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His 1-year-old son was unharmed and safely taken care for of. No details about Huizer, Jelly, and Amber’s parents were found.
