John B. Hite
President & Director
Mr. Hite is a Registered Geologist with significant experience in the junior mining industry, having worked as a geologic consultant since August, 1978, and is a Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101. Previously he was a Director and President of East Asia Gold Corp.
Richard R. Walters
Exec. Vice President & Director
Mr. Walters is a certified professional geologist with the American Institute of Professional Geologists and is a Qualified Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101. He was a Director, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Yamana Resources Inc., (TSE) between December 1994 and March 2000. Since July 2003, he has been a Director and President of Little Squaw Gold Mining Company (NASDAQ OTC BB).
President, Marifil S.A. & Director
Mr. Buffone, an Argentine born and trained geologist, was a founder of Marifil S.A. and may be considered a promoter of the Corporation within the meaning of applicable securities legislation.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Foster graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1993. He is an experienced accountant, with more than a decade of expertise in private, public and not-for-profit positions. He brings a reputation for integrity within the financial community, with a strong background in financial and operational strategies.
Mr. Foster's experience includes a diverse mix of financial roles. He most recently served as the CFO for Good Hope Cannery Ltd., a leading recreational company in British Columbia. He previously served as the CFO of Prophecy Platinum Corp., where he was responsible for the Company's finance department and financial management. He also served as the CFO and Financial Controller of Resinco Capital Partners Inc., a global investment company that specializes in early stage financing, where he oversaw, managed and reported an investment portfolio of approximately $100 million.
Mr. Burnett has a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering, and has extensive experience acting as president of Carob Management, a business development consulting company.
John W. Pearson
Mr. Pearson holds a H. B.Sc. in Geology and is an Investor Relations Executive with over 26 years experience in the mining industry. Currently, he is Centerra Gold Inc.'s Director of Investor Relations. Previously, he was the executive in charge of Investor Relations at Stillwater Mining Company, SouthernEra Resources Limited, Pegasus Gold Inc., LAC Minerals Ltd., and Canamax Resources.
Mr. Sweatman is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has operated MDS Management Ltd., a Vancouver-based management consulting company, since November 1992. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and commerce from Simon Fraser University, gained his CA designation in 1982, and is a member of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of both British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. He has served as a director and officer of a number of public companies over the past 20 years and is currently a director and the CEO of Eureka Resorces Inc (TSX-V: EUK) and a director of Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp. (TSXV: NEV), which was recently announced as an acquisition target of Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX: YRI)
