Overview
ATW VENTURE CORP. (ATW: TSX-V) is earning up to a 70% interest in the Company's Amarillo copper-gold project, which is located within the Veladero-El Indio gold belt. A sample taken on the property returned a value of 2,251 grams per tonne gold (65.28 ounces per ton) from a 0.1-metre vein. This gold belt is host to a number of large precious metal deposits, including Barrick's Veladero and Pascua Llama deposits, which together comprise one of the world's largest gold resources.
Marifil's property contains more than 20 square kilometres of intensely altered sedimentary, volcanic and intrusive rocks that represent the upper levels of two or more large hydrothermal systems.
